As we start ageing gradually, we can see puffiness or swelling under our eyes, which leads to droopy eyes. There are reasons for getting those eyes bags(ถุงใต้ตาบวม, which is the term in Thai). This leads to various causes, which may be due to hormonal imbalance or lack of sleep. So today, in this article, we will discuss its causes and remedial measures to minimise its effects.

    What Are The Causes?

So eye bags can happen due to various reasons,

    • Weakening of muscle and tissues.
    • Taking medications of strong doses
    • Lack of sleep.
    • Stress or anxiety
    • Smoking
    • Medical issues like thyroid.

    How Can It Be Resolved?

So, as it’s related to cosmetics, you need to consult an efficient dermatologist who can guide you with proper medication or will help you with the surgery if he feels so. This surgery will take less time as they will extract the extra fluids from your eyes to make the skin even tone. After surgery, precautions must be taken for a few days as pain can happen in that area.

Painless processes can also be done through laser therapy, but there are chances of uneven skin tone, leading to pigmentation.

What Measures Need To Be Taken?

So, if you feel the lower lids of your eyes are a bit swollen and look saggy, try to get enough sleep as it’s lacking. Secondly, try not to smoke as it will elevate your condition, making it worse. Thirdly, maintain a proper diet and keep time; if necessary, consult a dietician to guide you. Lastly, if you are consuming any medication, try to revise those with your physician as the side effects of those can lead to droopy eyes.

    Home Remedies

Few home remedial process is there to help you reduce the eyes bags.

Tea bags, as it has antioxidant properties, will help to increase blood flow and reduce puffiness.

We have seen people placing cucumbers on their eyelids. This adds a cooling effect that helps in reducing swollen eyes, and it also removes dark circles.

Stay too much hydrated; as we all know, good water intake helps us wash most of the toxins and minimises many health issues.

Try to follow healthy diets by consuming foods which contain vitamin C, amino acids, and leafy fresh veggies and also need eight hours of sleep.

Facial massages are also necessary, which will help your skin to remain firm from the outside.

So, the above procedures will help you have youthful, glowing, healthy skin and attractive eyes.
